Most patient's begin seeing changes in their skin's appearance within 1 to 2 weeks! The skin will also continue to improve over the next 3 to 6 months after treatment. It's also important to use medical grade skincare to maintain your results. We can give you some product recommendations based on your skin type.

HOW MUCH DOWNTIME?
Initial Downtime: 5–7 days of redness, swelling, and skin sloughing as the skin heals.

Social Downtime: Most patients feel presentable (makeup optional) by days 4-7
Full Recovery: Pinkness may persist for 2–4 weeks depending on skin type, depth of treatment, and aftercare, but can usually be covered with makeup after the first week.

Collagen Remodeling: Skin continues to improve for 3–6 months as new collagen forms.​​

BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT:
Avoid heavy sun exposure (minimum 1-2 weeks ideally)

No self tanner 2 weeks before treatment
Avoid blood thinning medications 7 days prior (ibuprofen, etc).
Stop skincare that has irritating ingredients 7 days before (retinoids, exfoliators, etc)
Accutane patients: must be 6 months post treatment
